As the Founding Chairman, Mr. Fischer led 26 global research expeditions to advance science and education while unlocking the many mysteries surrounding the life history of white sharks and other giants of the ocean.

His resource driven approach includes students and enthusiasts around the world through the OCEARCH Global Shark Tracker – a dynamic tool allowing students and the public to track and learn about sharks side by side with the brightest PhDs in the world.

The National Geographic Channel, HISTORY, The New York Times, CNN, BBC and virtually every major news media organization in the world have chronicled Mr. Fischer and OCEARCH in over 180 countries in more than 8,000 stories. Mr. Fischer hosted the Emmy Award winning "Offshore Adventures”, a television series on ESPN chronicling a life at sea: fishing, free diving and conservation.
